Does anyone know where I can find new intake manifold gaskets for my 1962 GMC 305 V6? The old ones are leaking badly, and I need to get this thing back on the road. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Let me check Auto Restorer Magazine tonight, they had a write up on the 305/350 GMC V6. Seems to me they said parts are hard to find and if you found someone who could get them for you to make them your best buddy. I'll see if they list any parts houses. I guess you tried Napa, ect... ?

yep, tried napa, the gaskets they have are supposedly for the 305, but they dont look the same. they look like V8 gaskets. I tried shucks and the ones for the 305 are actually for a chevy 350. (I will never go through shucks again) heres a picture of what they look like.

These are my intake manifold gaskets.(they are actually the same size, but the perspective makes on look smaller)

wait, now that I look at it, they will fit. Cause, there is some stuff on the engine that need gaskets also. I dont know how to explain it, but those will work. forget what I said about V8 gaskets. it looks like someone cut off the outer pieces on my gaskets. Thanks guys, for replying, I would have missed this if I hadnt posted these pics.
