I am working on a 46 1/2 ton pickup. It has a 700R4 transmission. I want to instal a transmission mounted shifter that made by Lokar. Has anyone installed one of these.

I also want to install the floor mounted emergency brake. I like the one from Lokar. The cable kit cost more than the brake handle. Any ideas?

Frank

I have both on my 55,along with a 700R4 tranny. Installation is easy on both ,but just followc the instructions. And yeah they are quite pricey.

Nice clean installation! What is the manufacturer of your plug wires and plug wire holders?

SW_Radial,

With your lokar 350 set up, what does that right side bolt to? The turbo 350 I have at least has no bolts on the right hand side, just pipe plugs.

the Kit comes with inserts that fit in those blind holes cast in the Trans Body on the right side.

Plug wires and holders all came with the GM crate engine. I'm sure you can get them at your local dealer.
