How do you remove the in-cab gas tank? I have the remains of a '55.1 Chevy pickup that I am parting out, but the gas tank doesn't seem to want to leave. We unbolted the straps, but it is still firmly in place. I'd like to get the tank out and sell it, it seems to be in excellent condition. | | |

It was over half full and I had no where to drain it. Unfortunately mine didn't have a shut off valve either. I just left the line on and disconnected it from the front and pulled it out line and all. It was heavy though! | | |
