No, that strike was settled over 61 years ago, and they have since gone back to work.
OK, all kidding aside, most of the parts will interchange from '41 thru early '47. Some mechanical parts were pretty much the same from about 1939 to the early '50s. It all depends on what you need.
That VIN doesn't look correct (usually start with letters for the Art Deco's), it might be an engine number.
