Hello,
I stripped my truck completely and I now have the opportunity to pick a color.
I like the jet black for the exterior. Does anybody know what the interior color was for black (if there was one). My current research tells me that there were only 3 options for any truck which were all versions of the champagne metallic, charcoal etc with a matte black dash.

I was thinking of a white dash with a black top. Does anyone know a good white?
Thanks,
Brian

Ditzler chip code 2185 is what I am using on the white areas of my truck.I had my local Lesonal paint jobber convert the code to their urethane single stage. It is a Chevy truck color used in the early to late 1970's, mostly as the center color on 2 tone trucks.
I am painting my 57 blue with white roof & interior. I have painted the grille HERE This white has a slight blue tint in it so it looks great with the blue body color. It should look great with black too, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Here's a couple interior color charts. They're for 1958 Chevrolet. Unfortuantely, it doesn't specify whether it's for car or truck, so there's a bunch to choose from. I hope that they help you out a bit.

You're welcome. Let me know if there's anything else you need.

I'll try to put some more on. I'm supposed to be boxing the frame this weekend and putting my drivetrain in next week. Hopefully this one goes in a lot easier than the other one came out. I have a goal though. I want her done for my birthday. So I figured if I have her ready by the 1st of April, it'll give me two weeks to work out any bugs that she may have. Thanks for asking!!
