I want to know if it's possible to cheat on dual exhaust. I want to run my stock manifold, run a Y pipe to 2 mufflers, and have them exit all the way out the back. Will a stock 250 be able to handle this? Has anyone seen this done before? And if so, how did it sound? Thanks for all replies

Yes you can do this. Your truck will handle it just fine. The sound will depend on what mufflers you use.

Right on!!! I run a 26" cherry bomb right and it gives it kind of a low rumble sound. It has no tailpipe on it yet, but I am hoping to do this exhaust job in the spring. Thanks for the reply.
