#36008 06/02/2002 2:20 AM | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 9 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 9 | thrust bearing arm for a 4 speed crash box it goes on a 235 engine can the arms be adjusted so i can get some clutch play on the pedal im having problems ive replaced the clutch and now have no free play theres 2 hooks that join with 2 nuts but with these are screwed up to the max i hope the arm can be adjusted cause there is limited movement

#36010 06/02/2002 8:09 AM | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 587 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 587 | Yeah! like Mech said, two big nuts on that L-shaped link rod just before the clutch arm. I put a new clutch in my 54 2-ton and it made noises when I put it to floor, quit when raised up some. Wouldn't shift w/out noise all the way down, but worked OK off the floor about 1". I had to take pedal and add more play to get it to quit making noise and worked good for last year now.
