No unpluging the battery, no draining the oil, no jacking it up, no nothin'...
Of course I wanted to paint it this winter, install Fentons, an Offy twin intake, twin exhaust with Smithy's, convert to 12 volt, drop it a few inches, swap the trans... So? Nope... Nothin'.
I did, however, re-do the house's second floor and I'm darn proud of that, I must say...
The truck looks awesome as it is anyway, with the battlescars and the 'rugged' looks...
So guys, it's my first time: how do I take this 'splash oiler' out of hibernation? Just fire it up? Is there a 'procedure'? A 'routine'?
Cant wait to take it out!

Just fire it up and let get hot , change oil & filter , you should be good to go .
Congrats on the house work .

Should replace a leaky manifold gasket and rear main seal. If I can find the time, I'd like to take the gas tank out and clean it up real well. Slosh some POR15 etching cleaner and seal it.
Rugo, are you there? What paint did you use on your manifolds?
Doc_2000, that's an off-white under the grill.
Thanks for your precious input, bolters
