My dad has an 84 chevy p/u w/ the inline 6. It has a seperate intake and exhaust, so we know at least the head isn't original. I have the list of casting #'s from inliners.org, but we can't match any of these #'s to the ones on the block. Any ideas on where these #'s are located on the block are greatly appreicated! I'm new to this site and think it is great. I'm thinking about finding a mid 60's truck and building a 6.

Just looked mine up. Right side (passenger) above and front of starter. I called my machine shop and they looked it up for me. Mine ended up being a 1975 nova 250.
