I have a 1961 Apache C10, someone gave me some free 31's....wondering if they are going to rub...anyone have any experience to share?

Should be fine on the front. There may be some issues with clearance on the outer fender lips, especially on a stepside. But nothing a slight amount of trimming can't take care of.

Don't forget to check tie rod ends & the drag link up front. Mine have had some issues with 265/75R15 at full left turn and I'ave backed of the turn angle a second time now.

The '61 would be ifs, so there won't be a clearance issue on the steering. I've put 32/11.50/15s on a '70 (similar front end) with no rubbing issues.
BTW, I have 30/9.50/15s on mine ('55), they don't rub at all. Must be the 1" extra width of the 265/70/15. What wheels are you running? I know that some aftermarket wheels, especially if you get the 7" width, use a Japanese truck backspace, and will rub even with a 235/75/15 on the AD/TF trucks.

Ran that size on my 64 for 8 years, never had a problem. I used late 70's 4X4 ralleys for wheels too,
