Anyone got a pic of ther wiper motor in their 53. I took mine out and suprisingly for someone who takes a zillion pics of everything ...I have none. I got it back in but I have an extra part to to the bracket that I am not sure where to put. I took this apart a long time ago.

If some one could snap a pic of theirs installed I would be very grateful.

Rich

Perhaps if you showed us a picture of the "extra" bracket we could help... not very easy crawling up under a dash to photo a wiper motor.

I have a spare housing in the shop but there are no 'parts' hanging off it. Like Czechman says, it will be easier for us to look at what you have. If you are desperate for a photo let me know and I'll email it (once I find the wiper!).

Marty,
Thanks I responded. I appreciate your help.

The pics of the bracket are in a new album called ..very creatively "Bracket"

Click the webshots link below. I know this doesn't go to the wiper motor but I did take it from under the dash.

What is it?

Thanks
Rich

doesn't look like anything on mine. I just installed it a month or two ago and took some pics.
Here's one behind the dash

Picture
There's also a few more of just the parts laid out in that same album.
Does everything seem to fit without that piece?

In the picture, the motor just fits on the bracket that is already welded to the dash. Theres two retainer nut things, one for each hole in the wiper motor. I think that's all that held it in there. That's how I took it out.....

Rich,
You got a bunch of replies on this bracket hunt and probably have figured it out by now. If not let me know and I will send some good shots of a 51 under dash showing the motor very clearly.

BIG CHEVY

So far I only know where itt doesn't go...I know this doesn't go to the wiper motor but I am stil drawing a blank on where I got it from. It is very unusual for me to not have a photo or drawing of where a part goes.

If you could look under your dash and give me another clue I would be grateful.

Thanks
