its challenges.
1. Low profile air comp & alternator have to be moved
upwards at a big expense. Cheapest I found so far
was $1400. with brackets, alt,air,& power steering.
The fancy kits are up in the $2300 to $2600 range.
There is not enough room between the frame rails in
stock position and the Mustang 2 top hats are also in
the way.
If you know any deals or shortcuts, please let me know.

Do you have all of the TA brackets and accessorys for the LS1.I have everything for a 2006 /6.0 which moves the accessory locations have you looked at the truck set ups ? Let me know I'm needing the LS1 pieces.
In the works 2006 GEN III 6.0 /4L80E/ 205 New process,A/C and power brakes .

06 Brackets I have not checked out. All the 98 T.A. brackets,
accessories are all on the engine.

We run into these issues installing superchargers and turbo's on the LS engines all the time. The nice thing is their interchangability. I'm converting a 2nd Gen Camaro to an LS1 and run into some of the same issues. The engines respond well to cam and head swaps and with a little computer dyno tuning you are well into the 400+ HP clubs. My son drives an 01 SS with a stroker producing over 550 to the rear wheels and gets 20+ MPG on the open road. You'll like it when you do it.
I know it's not my generation, but Im still working my way back to a 32 Chevy Coupe and that'll be the last project. Any leads???SunshinePerformance.net
