Morning guys!
I know that this isn't an bolt per se, but I have a problem that none of my guys can figure out. I built another S10 a day or so before Thanksgiving. Well, this time I pretty much just put a whole new body and wiring harnesses on a truck that had a really bad passenger side hit.
I have one problem that seems to be unfixable, at least to myself and everyone else I've talked to. The truck originally (before I swapped the body) had an electronic speedo. The cab that I put on has a cable operated speedo. Here's where my problem lies. I can't just swap the dash out to fix it, because the main wiring harness that replaced the old one does not have the wires that run to the tranny for the elec. speedo.
As far as I know, the do not make a converter to go from elec to cable. I tried to install a speedo from one of the street rods last, hoping that it would function enough for me to pass inspection, but that didn't work either. Any ideas?? Anything would be much appreciated. I'm running out of ideas. Thanx.
