I have a Chevrolet 350 V8 (ID 10066036) engine and I think about replacing my old V8 283 CID from 1958. Is it possible without complicated rebuildings?

it'll bolt right up, either using the original style front mounts if that's what's on the 283, or an aftermarket add-on cross member to take the side mounts - fits the same bellhouse

That sounds good. What about headers, will there be enough spache between the frame?
