I had my original tested, cleaned and painted and it's in good shape except for a few dents on top. I hate to spend alot of time and money having the body look great but when you open the hood you see those dents. Does anyone have a recommended vendor that they have had success with. I want to make sure it looks and fits like the original. Usually done while they are rebuilding the radiator. Your radiator shop has the equipment to seal your radiator and pressure test it. Take a rawhide or other "soft" hammer and rap the dent. Some times it will spring right back out. Good luck.

Wanted Good Woman: Must be able to cook , clean , sew , tune engines and polish trucks. Must have old Stovebolt and garage. Please send picture of old Stovebolt and garage.

When testing I think they run the radiators up to around 25-30lbs. The metal on them is pretty thin so its possible that the pressure alone will pop out the dents. If not, the gentle rapping should get most of them out. | | |
