I was told a 70's era complete front suspension will bolt up. That the 60 and 70's frame bolt patterns are the same. I have a guy in Julien, NC that parts out Chevy trucks and I'm thinking of buying the complete front suspension. I chose to have 1 1/2" taken from the crossmember so that I would not have to use spacers. You may not have to do that because I think your frame is wider. Other than that it was not too difficult at all. Here is one of the articles that helped me tremendously.

Fabrication will be required. The 60-62 frames are different than all others which is why there are no aftermarket upgrades available. Others have chopped the front clip and welded in others. I was thinking of making a template of the front end to take with me when I find a possible replacement. I knew when I bought this truck that I would be in for some interesting predicaments given that it was a 62'.
