Just curious - had a recent engine (216) rebuild and am losing anti-freeze through the overflow. Strange thing is that after a run, the driveway is dry under the truck. Wait an hour or so and there is a wet spot - overflow pipe drains through the radiator crossmember center hole. During very cold nights here in WV, the spot grows significantly when observed in the morning. No over heating problems - the temp gauge is OK, so is there just too much AF in the radiator? No overflow container on the truck, BTW Regards, BW

Try tightening the radiator hoses.

2 things to ck. Typical coolent level is about 1/2 the distance from the top of the neck to the top of the tubes. It will puke out the over flow until it reaches this level. #2 would be cold water leaks which Wrench Ret refered to. Snug up your hose clamps.
