Seen 'em on ebay the last couple weeks for cheaper. The search I used when I saw them was "65 chevy truck". Not sure what the difference is between the 6's and 8's as they had the same radiator. I suppose just the position of the fan. I've often wondered if that V8 shroud would fit on my 292, or if I could make it fit. If a stock one would work for you I guess depends how much bigger your fan is from stock one.

The fan blades should fit halfway into the back end of the shroud, so the fan hub is just even with the rear of the shroud. Too far forward or back will result in incorrect air flow through the radiator, and/or oddball noises. Also, any areas around the sides of the radiator should be covered with sheet matal, so all the air passes through the core. That's not usually a problem with a stock radiator, but on a custom job, sometimes it gets forgotten. Jerry

I am up on the physics of shrouds and the like, but I SURE don't want to have to build one. Right now I am in a time crunch, and buying one would be SO much nicer. More as the stomach turns.
