Does anyone know if the steering box for a 1.5 ton AD truck is interchangable with a 1/2 ton? Thanks in advance,
Steve O

Yes, should work.
My book shows three different ones, similar in all but ratio.
It could be that the pitman arms are different, but probably interchangeable.

The book shows models
3700, 3900 have a ratio of 19.8:1
3000, 4100 & 4400 have 26.24:1
5000, 6000 & 4502 have 27.76:1
I can't explain the logic above, but that is the way it is printed in the book.

So, my guess is it will work, but look at them side by side first.
