I have heard prices from $650.00 - $1200.00 for rechroming a 47-53 Chevy truck grill. The condition of the grille and the plater all changes the cost. Mike

The best ones will fill holes in the base metal with copper and then chrome the peice, typically 3 layer re-chroming is the best for show quailty. On the oppisite side, poor re-chroming will settle into metal scarring and bubbles can form. In the end you get what you pay for.

cam As for taxes you get it in the end and pay for like it was chrome. Five bars $400-$450 for the grill, this is if I pulled the grill apart.
