Last night I picked up a used 454 for my 59 panel! I have the motor and tranny mount figured out but now its time to find some headers. I have seen some block hugger headers in the summit and jegs catalogs I have also seen tight tuck headers advertised. Is there a difference between the two? Does anyone know what will work with the stock manual steeering set up. I want to convert to power steering eventually but will use the stock setup for now if I can.Please advise | | |

#34348 01/20/2004 5:35 PM | Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 179 Member | | Member Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 179 | Just got some headers for the 59 with a CSB in it. Went with the Block Huggers (Headman) - they only stick out 3 - 3.5" from the block.
I don't know what the CBB headers would be like - but you can call Summit and they should be able to tell you the details.
