I have a couple of spotlights that I may add to my 61 panel and was wondering if anyone has pictures of spot lights on their trucks. If so can you email them to me? I'd like to see how they would look before drilling!

Thanks,
Mac

Thanks guys but I need an installed picture near front A pillarof windsheild.
I am assuming it has to go through the front cowl area as the pillar is on the side but I'm not sure.

I actually found out that the spots and brackets I have are roof mounts for a big truck so your pic is actually accurate. I'm thinking of mounting both like yours andjust driving in reverse!

If anyone else is interested in spots for a 60-66 they require a 12.5" long spot with a 31 and 31RH bracket in order to install. They go below the windshield and just above the door. Bob at accessoryland.com straightened me out.

I asked the same question awhile back, and no one had any pictures. If you do get 'em in, would you maybe consider posting a picture? Thanks!!!

Gents,
If it will help, I just went out and got some shots of the spotlights on my firetruck ('65 GMC).

To see them, just go to this directory

Hope this is what you need.

Regards,
John

Thanks for doing that! I like the buggy picture as a suprise ending to the series, too. grin

I'd still like to see someone's ride with spotlights mounted in the traditional location under the windshield on a curved windshield truck. I assume the handles come out of the ends of the dashboard. I'd just like to see it before I start drilling holes and getting crazy.

Unity, the company that has been making most of the the spotlights for years has installation templets.
They have faxed me templets thru local NAPA store. I think still make kits for install for 61. You can chech their web site at www.unityusa.com/.

Revoh -- Oops, sorry about that. It was on the camera.

About that wagon, though -- here's a picture of it from this past Sunday when I was using it to give rides around the farm during tree sales -- The Wagon That's Doc and Silver in the "engine room." We retired our Belgians and these are a borrowed team of Clydesdales. We had driven this rig last Friday in our local town square for the annual tree lighting. Peggy even rode with me up on the seat -- it was great!

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving,
John
