| | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 33 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 33 | I installed a new horn brush in the steering wheel, and when I blew the horn the small spring melted.My 49 has NO horn relay.The horn ground wire runs up the steering column. I seem to remember a horn brush that had a braided wire inside of the spring to take the electrical load. Do any of you guys know where to get one???

My 49 is an early 49 and the wiring diagram doesn't showa horn relay. Battery to one horn term, gound to steering column.
