What is a '54 first series?

Size does matter, if I can assume your '54 GMC is a 1/2-, 3/4- or 1-ton, any '48 through '55 1st 1/2-, 3/4- or 1-ton GMC hood will fit, though there may be differences in side emblem holes.

A Chevy hood will NOT fit your GMC.
