How do I unhook the flex brake line from the front wheel. It twists and the connection does not loosen independently. I know it must be something simple, but I connot figure it out. Any help for the mechanically challenged (me!)would be appreciated!

Follow the hose to the frame and there should be a clip holding the hose to a bracket. At that point the hose should have a metal brake line screwed into it. Remove the metal brake line, then remove the clip. Now the hose will unthread from the wheel cylinder..
If you are only trying to bleed them, there is no need to remove the hose. The air is bled through the bleeder screw in the wheel cylinder.

The bleeder valve is close to the spot where the flexible brake hose connects to the back of the wheel cylinder.
There is enough good in the worst of us and enough bad in the best of us that it does not behoove any of us to criticize the rest of us.
