the original V8 mounted from the front, off that cross member, but a BB will need the aftermarket crossmember that carries the side mounts ... check the vendors, see the links pages

and see if yer keyboard has a capslock key that works, all caps is yelling grin

It depends whether you want to use the old mounts or the newer side mounts. My big big block is mounted using the original 6 cylinder mounts for the front mounts. The front engine mount can be fabricated from a piece of angle iron, and will attach on either side of the timing chain cover.
The rear mount can be a stock older V8 bellhousing bolted to the stock rear crossmember, or you can fabricate a crossmember for the stock mount at the rear of the transmission. This will mean that you will have a very long distance between the front and rear mounts with all the weight in the middle being unsupported. You can make two snubbers that locate over the original rear mount to support this weight. Mine has worked well for me since 1970 when I did the first big block installation in my 55 Cameo 1/2 ton.
If you use the newer side mounts, you may be forced to move the steering box. You will have to tell me what you will be using for a transmission.

Speedway, Jegs, Summit, even JC Whitney has them. I would suggest Speedway first, though. They have side mounts that attach to the frame without having an additional crossmember.

Yeah, I misread the question. The yoke on a TH 400 is larger than the stock yoke. I installed my TH 400 a long time ago ( around 1978), and was able to get a yoke from Dana that allowed me to use the stock driveshaft and fitted into the transmission perfectly. My TH 400 is a short shaft unit. I made my own rear mount for the transmission that bolts to the truck frame.
I was looking through a parts book for a universal relating to a different swap I was working on, and saw that the companies make crosses where one length seems to be for a small yoke and the other for a larger yoke. I think it would be worth the time to ask a friendly parts man whether they have something available to match the smaller shaft to the larger yoke. I never needed to pursue the option, but knew that it would be a lot less expensive than what I went through.

I am not familiar with the big block motor mounts, but I suggest you think long and hard about using side motor mounts instead of a front saddle mount as somebody has suggested. Reason: side motor mounts will give you fits running your exhaust unless you have a header or exhaust manifold that is specifically built for that application. This is a big issue that you should have worked out before you decide on which motor mount to use. I also agree as somebody has already said that you can's use a front motor mount and a tailshaft mount only because of torque twisting the engine. But you could consider a couple of added stabilizer bars from the head on either side to the frame, similar to the principle used on modern front wheel drive cars to prevent torque twisting (just an idea).
