I don't know where to find a 'kit'. If you haven't torn the engine down yet to measure the bore, rods and mains, it will be pretty tough to figure out where you are going with this rebuild.
If you were to find a 'kit' with say, STD main bearings, then had a machine shop tell you the crank needed to be ground .010 under, you might be up the proverbial creek without a paddle.
This is how I see the situation...but I might have bum vision...OR, you might already know exactly what you need!

I got some venolia pistons from him several years ago. They were so pretty it was almost a shame to bury them in my 302. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 20 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 20 | thanks guys. i am starting to take the engine out of the truck.Just getting started. thanks alot... im sure i will be back to ask more questions. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 20 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 20 | are there discount stores to purchase the pistons, rings, bearings, valves, etc...
