Measure and re measure just to be safe and the measure again. I have a 292ci that I wanted to put in but decided to use the 250. the mounts for the 250 and 292 are different. the left side of both engines is offset and the left side engine mount holes are also alittle different ...spacing of bolt holes. Tom has both sets 250 or 292 just tell him what you want Good luck.

THe 292 is alittle longer than the 250 and 235. marlo

I thought it looked better and the electric fan w/relay (very important) works very well and keeps my girl very cool. 292 are great engines lots of torque and they dress up very nice. later good luck on the project.
