#33027 02/09/2002 12:19 AM | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 84 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 84 | just put a 250 in my 54chevy 1/2 ton and I ordered the mounts from Tom over at stovebolt-slides in the frame rails (either weld them of drill hole and bolt) works great. Measure and re measure just to be safe and the measure again. I have a 292ci that I wanted to put in but decided to use the 250. the mounts for the 250 and 292 are different. the left side of both engines is offset and the left side engine mount holes are also alittle different ...spacing of bolt holes. Tom has both sets 250 or 292 just tell him what you want Good luck.
