I'm going thru her and fixing various small items making it a good driver. One problem is that the previous owner had tied a rope between the door and window handles to keep the windows from rolling down. If I take the rope off the window will literally roll down 1/2 - 3/4 open just by the weight of the window. The door glass is loose and I can fix that with new channel. Nothing seems broken but the regulators are a bit sloppy. What's the fix for this problem? Thanks.

| | | | | Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 784 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 784 | You can get a kit to rebuild the regulators from most of the usual vendors. There is a coil spring in the window mechanism that holds up the window. Yours might be broken or worn out. I'm not sure if anyone makes replacements.
