Steele Rubber is best quality and highest price.

You did not mention the lower door seal retainer. Do you deem them not necessary or do they not work well with new rubber? My metal strips are shot and I would be buying new ones.

I just deemed the lower door seals to be unnecessary ... although I must admit, that's from a totally uneducated stance. My truck never had them so I don't know what effect they do or do not have.
If anyone *does* have them, I'd love to hear your assessment of what they do, how necessary they are and why.
