| | | | Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 486 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 486 | I replaced my old rotten speaker on my '64 with a new one from Chevy Duty. It's one of the ones with two small speakers in it. I installed the new one just like the one I removed but it seems loose. It has one bracket on the right side that gets a screw under the windshield and it has a bracket and rubber bumper on the left side that fits against the inside of the dash. The old one seemed to be wedged in tight but I can move this one around. Have I missed something? There's another hole under the windshield on the left side but no bracket to match it. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

I am trt=ying to remove my old speaker in my 66 and cant see how to get it out. You mention a screw...whrere the heck is it? I see the rubber bumper...
