Anyone know if there is a difference between gmc and chevy radios other than the dial logo?

if you are talking about the AD radios, there is no difference other that what you have mentioned. However, if the vibrator has been replaced with a solid state one, it will be specifically for negative or positive ground. Nothing else in the radio is polarity sensitive.

Thanks, I did mean for a AD radio. I know you can get a Chevy to work in a GMC and it will look the same from the dash if you change the dial. I just wondered if they are the same chassis and components. Don't know why it matters but I was looking to buy one for my GMC and thought I might as well get one from a GMC

I imagine that you know this already but you can buy the dial from many of the vendors. You can buy the dial, bezel, pushbuttons and knobs. The replacement dials have a different arrangement of the numbers and they don't line up with the actual tuner, too well. Other than that, they look really nice.
