I have a MIG welder & 110V resistance spot welder. But there is alot of pitting under the strips. what's the best solution. Don't want rust to come back (panels have been blasted). Do I fill with lead, just epoxy prime spot weld and paint? But sounds like your going to put same amount of $$ (time too) I have my originals as well, and noted that it was way to much to try to save. I sanded one, and it just disenigrated before my eyes.
