| | | | Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 44 Member | | Member Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 44 | Need some education- an oldtimer is telling me to only use yellow pine as oak will splinter or crack over time, if oak is kiln dried and treated sealed is this a myth, other than pine being cheaper is there any reason that it has better longevity in the bed than oak in truck that will be covered up indoors
