Now to let it dry thourghly for the next 72 hours. I will post some photos after we get it back into the bed. I think I would be a little upset with them if my wood arrived as you say yours did. It says that the wood is sanded and ready to finish. Leaving planner marks and dings doesn't sound like ready to finish wood. I would expect some final sanding on boards purchased in the ready to finish state but not as you described. To have mixed flat and quarter sawed wood is not good either, especially if you wanted the grain to show. I see you went with a dark look on your boards, at least this would cover up the different grain patterns. You did a very nice job on your bed. | | |
