my 65 gmc k1500 came from the factory with no bed on the back. i want to put a 8' fleetside bed on , i have the mounting brackets from another truck , is there a chart or can some one give me the exact places they go so when i put my bed on all mounting holes will line up , thanks ron .

I wonder if you could attach the brackets to the bed then set it over the frame with the brackets still attached. The rearmost and next-to-rear frame bolts don't use brackets and will locate the bed correctly front to back. If you center the bed side-to-side things should be in the right places. The brackets should then be located in just the right place on your frame.
