I'm on the downhill slide of my 3 year resto of a 62 lwb chevy truck. I lack finishing the bed and the hood. When I get my bed pieces back I want to order my wood, precut and drilled. What was the wood used in 62 and was it painted body color or black or what? The truck is stock except for an M4F cam, so although the truck is essentially new, I don't care for a show look. Also, were the letters on the tailgate done in black, white or body color. My gate was well worn and hard to tell what it was. The grill, bumper and original step bumper are white; the letters on the grill are black. Thanks in advance.
