A friend of mine says you turn the engine over with the ignition off until oil shows up in the rocker arms. That doesn't sound right to me, I thought the pump had to be primed somehow. The engine is a 350. I need some help here because I'm hoping to fire her up tomorrow. Thanks, Don | | |

Whatever you find that will fit the drill and engauge the pump will work fine. Like Brian says, you will know when the pump gets primed. I also had dad check the oil guage while I was pumping.
