Also I am trying to acquire a 4.11 gear and pinion for my 59 3/4ton. Does anyone know if the 59 3/4 tons came with a posi rear end or were they all non-posi?

There's a bunch of posts on how to find 4.11's and posi's. I think it was from 67 to 72 where 3/4 and 1 ton trucks with automatic had 4.11's. These third members will fit your 3/4 ton. Detroit lockers were an option. I'm not sure what years. I was thinking you could still get them for that diff but another poster didn't think so.
