#30672 07/17/2002 3:59 AM | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 39 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 39 | hello all. the e-brake cable on my 48 1 ton is in bad shape and so is the hand lever and mechanism. i haven't seen replacements anywhere, and i don't want to spend a lot on custom made stuff. i was wondering if i could take a cable and foot brake pedal out of another vehicle and adapt it to work on my truck? has anyone done this, or have any ideas if this would even work? thanks!
