Everything looks good except the choke. The one listed for my truck (230 cid)is a manual choke but the one on the new carb (215 cid Pontiac--my engine) is an auto choke. So my question(s) is:
1.If I order another carb for a truck application (230cid) would it be too big for my engine (215cid)?
2.If I wanted to remove this choke and install my manual choke, how hard is it/is it possible? Thanks for any help provided.

Drive it for a while then check your plugs. if they're carboned up, rejet the carb. As far as swapping chokes, I don't think you can do it. I would run the auto choke. I'm assuming it's one with a heat tube, which runs down to the exhaust manifold.
When you ordered the carb, did you tell them you wanted a manual choke? If so, take it back.
