I was wondering if the tailshaft from the earlier S10 will interchange. This would be a World Class tranny. I know a lot changed within the t5 over the years. I have a bench seat so, don't want to have a hole punched in it to shift! I think that would get by the electronic speedo too.
Thanks

The F-body/S10 hybrid doesn't require that the actual tailshaft be changed, just the housing and shifter rod, so it will probably swap OK... but check with Buffalo to be sure. He has done a bunch of T5 conversions and is not that far from you.

For more info on relocating or adapting a speedo gear to an S10 tailshaft see T5_tech

Hey 1,
No, my truck is now open drive line. Not sure what opions you might have with keeping the enclosed driveline. Have you tried the search feature here? If not, give it a shot. Lots of info there. If you don't find anything, post again and I'm sure someone here can help out.
