I have a 46 (titled 47) chevy half ton and am wanting to put power steering on it. My question is, the kits for this conversion all start with the 47 models. Is there that much difference in the years that theses kits won't fit a 46? I am mostly interested in the pitman arm spline as I have the equipment nessesary to fabricate the monts. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Red Rock.

Welcome to the board. I saw this and thought it was very interesting. It looks like it would even go in the original location on a 46.
