Hi All,
I just got my Lump ports in for my 292 I gat the bolt in type from PES. Does anyone have any advice or even pictures of them bolted in I dont quite understand the instructions that were sent. It was just a diagram that show the bottom (gasket) side of the head and says "drill hole here" Are you supposed to drill threw the lumps and tap the head or what? I am lost!
Thanks

Santucci's book has a few pictures of the PES lumps. Did you buy them from PES? It is going to take some gonads to mill that head bolt boss outta the way! I have been tempted to do that with my 292 project as well. Hurry up and get it done so I can hear and see (take lots of pictures) how it is done grin

I'm with Ken - I've been debating whether or not I want to do this to my 250. I'm already going to have a machining bill for the screw-in rocker studs and oversize springs, and I'm considering bigger valves. The lumps would be nice addition to the mix.

If you ordered them from PES, how much did they cost?

Hi guys,
Sorry it has taken so long for me to reply I was in LA at Speed-O-Motive dropping off my connecting rods this weekend great place. I did order from PES I have already cut out my bosses and the plates will go in but I am not sure how to bolt them down with the little bolts that came with them if someone has done this please send pics. I will check the book again to see if I can tell how you are suppost to do this.

Thanks
Chris
