Is there a way to tell from the vin number if my 68 chevy is a deluxe edition?
Thanks | | |

There is a "Service Parts Identification" plate inside the glove box door. This lists GVW (and Serial number, again), exterior paint code, option numbers (for RPOs), and a Special Equipment Number (SE). My book lists RPO codes but does not list SE codes (one of these codes might have indicated Deluxe).
Maybe someone else has better information.
