Hey ive got a 261 in my 2ton. I also have a brand new 350 cfm holley 2bbl carb. Can i make this fit the stock manifold??? Does anyone make an adapter. Thanks For the help. Chris

There are some adapters available, but it's fairly simple to make one with a block of aluminum and a little machine work. We build custom adapters for that carb all the time for the roundtrack cars, since it's the only one the Nashville Fairgrounds track allows. Those are going on smallblock V-8 manifolds, however. It wouldn't be too difficult to make one for a 6-cylinder.

No need to wonder, I do have a 350 Holley 2300 series carb on a 261 with a modified stock manifold.Forget the adapters,they mess up the mixture and limit the flow. 2300 Holley I enlarged the carb opening to an oval shape in a stock intake using common tools,had to weld up a few holes as the porting operation get into the exhaust heat riser part of the intake,I wanted to retain the heat riser for street use.Then made a carb mounting flange from phenolic cause I can work it wood working tools and it's a good heat insulator .Drilled and tapped a few holes to bolt the plate on,heli coiled the carb mounting bolt holes,made a cross over piece for the linkage. On my set up,the carb sits fuel bowl foward.
The Holley on modified intake has great throttle response,more power and yes ,better fuel mileage than the stock carb or those ugly over rated Holley Weber 2 bbl carbs.
