I have a 64 Chevy stepside with a 230 in it and am wondering what the engine is worth, whole or part?

I have 350 that I'm going to put in the truck and need to sell the 230.

Any help would be great.

I'm not trying to sell the engine in this post, just get a basic value.

Thanks,
Alfred/WV

We could help more with some data. Worn out? Smoking? Rod through the side?

In general, I'd guess it's not worth much. There are lots of them out there, they're not 'collectible', and most folks looking for a modern 6 will go with a 250 or 292. Take whatever you can get for it.
