in my 1949 panel I have 350 transmission in it niw with pontiac or a chevy steering column set up for the 350 trans. My question is will ther be enough shifter movement to set up a 700r4 with this same column or will I juist be short of low gear?

I'm doing the same thing in a 58 and pretty much figured if it didn't work I would put in a Lokar floor shifter. If you have gotten any help or advise on your question, please let me know.

Thx,

Bob
