Didn't they use the same ones that the station wagons used? I have seen a picture somewhere, but I don't remember where. It may have been on the earlyburb site that is no longer maintained.

This all I could find at this time. This type of roof rack was used on old wagons in the fifties and sixties. They have angular posts and bullet ends. They lay fairly close to the roof. I am sure this was the same type used on the Suburban of that era (1955 on)

I just scrapped out a 62 Suburban, and the rack on it was screwed through the roof. It used 4-5 stainless strips on rubber, with a chrome containment frame. Chrome was badly crazed. I may be able to get to it, as I think it's still sitting in the yard. It looked similar to those on any 60's era station wagon.

Can you get it back? I need a few strips.
